Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: October 28, 2026

Welcome to ProRoute Vehicle Transport. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, proroutevehicletransport.com, and the services you request through our website, telephone, or other communication channels. By accessing our website or requesting our services, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Please read these terms carefully before submitting a quote request or arranging vehicle transportation.

1. About Our Services

ProRoute Vehicle Transport provides information and assistance regarding vehicle transportation services, including open car transport, enclosed car transport, door-to-door auto transport, and state-to-state auto transport.

The specific role of ProRoute Vehicle Transport in an individual shipment, including whether it acts as a motor carrier, transportation broker, or another service provider, will depend on the actual arrangement and applicable authorization. Relevant service and carrier information should be disclosed in the applicable agreement.

2. Quotes and Pricing

Quotes may be based on the vehicle’s make and model, dimensions, operating condition, pickup and delivery locations, route distance, transport type, seasonality, carrier availability, and requested schedule.

A quote is not necessarily a final confirmed booking. Pricing, availability, and estimated pickup or delivery dates must be confirmed through the applicable service agreement.

Additional charges may apply when material details differ from those originally provided, including vehicle modifications, inoperable condition, inaccessible locations, or requested changes to the transportation arrangement. Any applicable additional charges should be disclosed and agreed upon in accordance with the contract and applicable law.

3. Booking and Scheduling

Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact information, vehicle details, pickup and delivery addresses, and scheduling preferences.

Pickup and delivery dates may be estimates or service windows rather than guaranteed appointments. Weather, traffic, road closures, mechanical problems, carrier availability, and other circumstances may affect scheduling.

We will communicate material scheduling updates when reasonably possible. Any guaranteed service commitments must be expressly stated in the applicable written agreement.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Provide accurate information about the vehicle and requested route.

  • Disclose mechanical issues, modifications, and non-operational conditions.

  • Remove personal belongings and prohibited items before pickup.

  • Prepare the vehicle according to the carrier’s instructions.

  • Ensure an authorized person is available for vehicle release and receipt.

  • Review and retain relevant shipping documents.

Customers must also comply with applicable laws and reasonable carrier safety requirements.

5. Vehicle Inspection and Documentation

A vehicle inspection report or bill of lading may document the vehicle’s condition at pickup and delivery. Customers should inspect the vehicle and ensure that existing damage is recorded accurately.

At delivery, customers should examine the vehicle before signing the relevant documents. Any newly observed damage or discrepancy should be documented on the delivery paperwork and reported promptly under the applicable claim procedures.

Failure to follow a particular documentation procedure does not automatically determine the outcome of a claim; rights and obligations remain subject to applicable law and the relevant agreement.

6. Payment Terms

Payment methods, deposits, balances, payment deadlines, and any applicable fees will be disclosed in the applicable booking agreement.

Customers agree to pay authorized charges according to the agreed terms. Disputed charges should be raised promptly through the designated contact channel. Nothing in these terms authorizes fees that are prohibited by law or were not properly disclosed and agreed upon.

7. Cancellations and Changes

Cancellation deadlines, deposits, refund eligibility, and other cancellation conditions will be determined by the applicable booking agreement and relevant law.

Customers should request changes or cancellations as early as possible. Changes to pickup dates, delivery addresses, vehicle details, or transportation methods may affect pricing and availability.

No refund or cancellation fee should be assumed unless it is established by the applicable agreement and permitted by law.

8. Insurance and Liability

Insurance coverage depends on the carrier, shipment arrangement, policy terms, exclusions, and applicable law. Customers should request and review relevant carrier insurance information before transportation.

ProRoute Vehicle Transport does not make any blanket guarantee that every loss or type of damage will be covered. Liability for damage, delay, loss, or other claims will be determined by the applicable contract, actual service role, insurance policy, and governing law.

Customers should report potential claims promptly and preserve relevant photographs, inspection reports, shipping documents, and correspondence.

9. Website Information and Intellectual Property

11. Third-Party Services

Vehicle transportation may involve independent carriers, payment processors, communication services, or other third parties. Their services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.

The responsibilities of each party will depend on the actual arrangement and applicable law.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, liability arising from website use will be governed by the circumstances, the applicable agreement, and any mandatory legal protections. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

13. Privacy

14. Changes to These Terms

15. Governing Law and Contact Information

Applicable law and dispute resolution procedures will be determined by the governing agreement and relevant legal requirements.
